Baby blanket
In early 2011, my older brother had his first child. I tend not to make many large, rectangular crochet pieces, but for my first nephew I had to make an exception. Our younger brother was painting a nautical-themed mural for his room, so I made a blanket to match. The signal flags on the sailboat display the code for "Welcome home."
